To Whom It May Concern:

On July 4th and 5th, 2013 torrential rain and flooding caused part of the embankment on our lake lot to collapse into Smith Lake. An old existing retaining wall also started to move which further compromised the stability of this residence. My Travelers Agent advised me that I was not covered under my homeowners policy for any incidences involving movemant of the earth such as landslides, mudslides, sinkholes, etc.

After talking with several people in the construction business, every one of them agreed that Steve Earley would be the only one in this area who would have the resources and expertise to take on a project like this. Steve responded in a timely manner and came up and accessed the situation. He said he had delt with somenhting similar to this and was able to make us understand what he had to do to secure the hillside and replace the retaining wall with a new one. The area where the work was to be performed seemed to be a pretty tight area for large equipment but he assured us that he could make it all work and that they would do their best to preserve as much of the landscaping and sod as possible.

Steve and his crew have worked diligently on this project. His workers apppear to be knowledgeable and well trained as well. They did indeed have the resources to complete this job in a timely ;manner. I have worked in the mining industry for 40 years so i did have some concept of what had to be done to secure the hillside and i can see that the work performed is structurally sound. The project is ;aesthetically pleasing as well and guaranteed for as lon as we are the property owners. Had we not been able to get this wsork performed in sujch a timely manner, we could have been facing structural or foundation issues with the house itself.

At the conclusion of the project, Steve and his cre smoothed everything back up for us and also made sure and debris that resulted from the project was removed. I am 100 percent satisfied with what thdy have done and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them
